A SUPERB HORSE + RIDER BRONZE CHARM, SENOUFO TRIBE BURKINA FASO ( No 4381 )

This is a large bronze lost wax talisman from the Senoufo tribe of Burkina Faso.. Quirky and charming, complex form.  Depicts a rider pulling on plaited rope to halt his hose.  Has a mottled patina that has some vert de gris.  Made using lost wax technique of bronze making.  In good condition  with wear. We guarantee that this item has been tribally used.width approx 10cm .
