This is an abstract Ndop strip weave fabric from Cameroon, West Africa. Women artisans stitch in the geometrical resist design in raphia thread, which is dyed with indigo. The geometric shapes are all symbolic. In solid original condition with wear and some stains. Height approx 250cm by 130cm
