This is an exceptional Thil figure from the Lobi tribe of Burkina Faso. It depicts a female reading a book. This is the first and only time we have found this form. The patina has weathering and has remnants of libations. In good condition, with wear. Doesn’t stand unassisted. We guarantee that these have been tribally used.
