A LEATHER, SHELL+RESIN NECKLACE FROM TUAREG TRIBE OF NIGER W.AFRICA ( No 2327)

A hand of Fatima leather and shell pendant from the Tuareg tribe of Niger, West Africa. The pendant hangs a long leather multistrand cord with graphic multicoloured beads, some show numbers, maybe from padlocks(?).  The patina of the brass has darkened with age,  and is in good condition with wear. We guarantee that this item has been tribally used. Length of necklace approx 35cm
