A LARGE 40CM TUTSI TRIBE METAL REPAIRED HONEY POT ( No 2244)

This is a large deep, dark honey coloured  honey pot from Tutsi tribe of Rwanda, E. Africa . Simple form with indigenous metal repairs. Has a well used patina that has darkened with age.  Used in a practical way to hold food stuffs including honey. In good condition. Has wear commensurate with tribal use. We guarantee that this item has been tribally used. Height approx 40cm
