A BIZARRE THIL FIGURE, LOBI TRIBE BURKINA FASO( No 1662)

This is a very unusual Thil figure from the Lobi people of Burkina Faso, west Africa.   Features one figure emerging from, or birthing another.  The style of carving is very cubist.  The patina is dry and moderately developed.  In good condition.   This is a horizontally piece and does not stand up as photographed.  We guarantee that this item has been tribally used. Length 40cm approximately
