This is an intricate prestige object from the
Baule people of the Ivory Coast West Africa.
Depicting a bird. It is nicely engraved, so the
gold leaf that once adorned it, would glint in
the light. It once was a glittering symbol of
prestige, owned by a Baule chief. In
good condition, there's an age line on one
side. We guarantee that this item has been
tribally used. Height 15cm approx
