This is a wooden bird nature spirit from the Lobi people of Burkina faso.  Features a semi abstract bird.  These animals are revered as messangers.. Features a dry, well developed patina with remnants of libations. Does not stand upright and needs stand . Has  a dynamic sculptural style. In good condition.
