This is a large gourd with lid, from the Gurunsi tribe of Burkina Faso, west Africa. Simple organic form with stitched bark perimeter lid. Made of vegetable gourd.  Features a well used, glossy patina from handling .  In good condition, with wear.  We guarantee that this item has been tribally used. Height approx 45cm
