A LARGE WOODEN WRITING BOARD FROM HAUSA TRIBE NIGERIA ( No 4619 )

This is a well worn wooden writing board from the Hausa tribe of Nigeria, west Africa.   Made of wood with kohl lettering and magic square patterns with animals.  EX UK collection.  A large bird is depicted.  Features a smooth soft  patina from lots of handling and use.  We guarantee this item has been tribally used. Age stable hairlline from the bottom.  Height approx 45cm
