This is a wonderfully pattnated and classically shaped and engraved headrest from the Sidamo people of Ethiopia east Africa. Has a deep u bend. Elegant and precise engravings resembling weaving patterns with beautiful patination and wrest. The patina is warm, the form is fabulous, the condition is great.A rare find these days. In good condition with wear. Height approx 18cm
