This is a cute double chameleon altar object
from the Lobi people of Burkina faso, West
Africa. Unusual form, featuring two abstract
chameleons stacked on top of eachother. Be-
lieved to have increased spiritual impact. It
has a dry, rustic, patina. Made from a heavy and dense African hardwood.  Sculptural form. In solid condition with erosion at the rear.  We guarantee that this item has been tribally used. W approx 24cm
