A RARE SACRED BUFFALO RING, SENOUFO TRIBE IVORY COAST ( No 2906 )

This is a characterful divination ring from the Senoufo people of Burkina Faso , West Africa. A rare form which we have never found in 30 years.  Made of bronze using the lost wax technique.  The patina has softened with age, and has some vert de gris.  In good condition, with wear to the ring part which is distorted. We guarantee that this item has been tribally used. Height approx 6cm
