A large, well patinated tunic of Ndop fabric from the Bamileke tribe of Cameroon, West Africa. Has a watery linear design to the cloth. Women artisans stitch in the geometrical resist design in raphia thread, which is dyed with indigo. In solid original condition with wear and staining. Height of tunic approx 60cm
