This is an exquisitely textural and encrusted pair of Venavi twin dolls from the Ewe tribe of Ghana, West Africa.  Both have a handsome, naturalistic faces and muscular physiques. A refined carving style with an interesting level of detail.  Has a many layered patina with ceremonial libations.  In good condition, with some wear.  We guarantee that this item has been tribally used.
