A NEAT MAGIC SQUARE WRITING BOARD FROM HAUSA TRIBE NIGERIA ( No 4470 )

This is a medium writing board from the Hausa tribe of Nigeria, west Africa.  A particular  spirituality called “The Magic Square.” which is expressed in gris patterns with letters and diagrams. An ancient form of wisdom.  Made of wood with ink lettering and a leather wrapped handle.  A nice old patina, especially for these type of writing boards.  We guarantee this item has been tribally used.  Height approx 40cm
