This is a pretty mask from the Dan /Kran tribe of the Ivory Coast. Has fine form, round eyes, with rings around them with an adze carved textural patina The patina is well used, with a subtle sheen. Natural at the back, as one would expect. Some of the holes for the attachment of the costume have wear and distress at the rear edge. In good collectable condition. We guarantee this item has been tribally used. H approx 25cm
