This is a half bird, half man figure from the Lobi tribe of Burkina faso.  A rare and striking design.  A refined example, with a fine carving style. The patina is dark and lush.  In good condition with wear. Custom stand. We guarantee this item has been tribally used. Height approx 20cm.
