A FIVE PEANUT RING, BAULE TRIBE IVORY COAST ( No 2567)

This is a big and bold ground nut ring from the Baule people of the Ivory Coast , West Africa. A rare form with five radiating peanuts.  Made of bronze using the lost wax technique.  The patina has softened with age.  In good condition. We guarantee that this item has been tribally used. Height approx 4cm
