A compact yet very detailed Firespitter mask from the Senoufo tribe of Burkina Faso from the poro secret society. Interesting depiction with a naturalistic reference to the buffalo at the forehead. Includes many animal motifs. The patina is encrusted with ceremonial libations. It is in solid condition with some old wear. We guarantee that this item has been tribally used. Width approx 40cm
