This is an old colon figure from the Baule tribe of the Ivory Coast.  A petite sized figure.  The patina is nicely developed.  Dating probably from the 1960-70s era.  Has sculptural form, and is in good condition. Wear commensurate with tribal use. In good condition.  The patina shows age.  Has remnants of paint, with some encrustation.  Has wear commensurate with tribal use.  In good condition with wear and weathering. We guarantee that this item has been tribally used. H approx 16cm
