A CUBIST DAN /KRAN MASK FROM THE IVORY COAST EX UK COLLECTION ( No 5173 )

This is a pretty mask from the Dan /Kran tribe of the Ivory Coast. Has fine form, round eyes on stalks and triangular eyes underneath.   The patina is well used, with a subtle sheen. The jaw is articulated and features monkey pelt. Natural at the back, as one would expect.  In good collectable condition with wear. We guarantee this item has been tribally used. Stand included. H approx 25cm
