This is an incredibly sculptural and charming stool double tiered from the Igbo people of Nigeria, West Africa. Dynamic and sculptural form with lots of flourishes. A attractive polychrome patina. This stool is seriously old and the top edge shows its wear. Features an excellent patina. Made from a solid and heavy African hardwood. In good condition, with wear and weathering around the top edge commensurate with tribal use.Old metal repair to one top edge .We guarantee that this item has been tribally used. Height approx 50cm
