A BIZARRE +RARE FETISH FROM BOBO TRIBE OF MALI, W. AFRICA (No 4474)

This is a rare and large fetish from the Bobo
people of Mali, West Africa. Very bizarre form
circled by metal rings and cowrie shells, with
a dangling fetish parcel to complete the
wacky construction. The patina is encrusted
with a dark pigment paste. In good condition.
We guarantee this item has been tribally
used. Circumference of the 'hat' shape ap-
prox 55cm (not including the fetish dangle).
