This is a large and well patinated pendant from the Lobi people of the Ivory Coast , West Africa. A rare large size.  Worn by children and adults alike as a protective talisman.  Made of bronze using the lost wax technique.  The patina has softened, darkened and smoothed with age.  In good condition.
