A SCARIFIED LEGA PASSPORT MASK, CONGO ( No 2395)

This is a passport mask with a heart shaped face from the Lega tribe of the Congo.  Has scarification marks on the forehead.  The patina has remnants of kaolin mineral pigment which represents the presence of the ancestors .  In good condition with wear.  We guarantee that this item has been tribally used. Height of mask  approx 7cm
