A BRUT IRON HOE CURRENCY FROM WEST AFRICA( No 1865)

This is a large and simply shaped iron currency from Cameroon. Features a large curved hoe “blade” .  Based on an agricultural tool, which was a sign of wealth.  Has a brut indigenous style, with a used and oxiidised patina. In good condition.  We guarantee this item has been tribally used.  Does not stand unassisted. Height approx 35cm
