This is an incredible large three legged headrest from the Dadinga people of East Africa. The form follows the natural shape of the branch. Larger than average size. Made from a very attractive dark chocolate African hardwood. The patina is nicely developed with a soft and tactile sheen. In good condition with wear commensurate with tribal use.
