AN ARTISTICALLY STRIPED INDIGO WOMANS CLOTH, NORTHERN GHANA ( No 2978 )

This is a thick, artistically striped woman’s robe textile from Northern Ghana.  Has an attractive slightly asymmetric design.  Made of pure cotton, hand woven on a portable loom, then hand stitched together.  A strip weave cloth, In good condition with wear, particularly at one edge.   Height approx 140 x 100cm
