A BOLDLY STRIPED INDIGO WOMANS CLOTH, NORTHERN GHANA ( No 2977 )

This is a thick, well patinated, striped woman’s cloth from Northern Ghana.  Has an attractive deep blue colour and an asymmetric design which is unusual.  Made of pure cotton, hand woven on a portable loom, then hand stitched together.  A strip weave cloth, In good condition with wear.   Height approx 200 x 120
