A SHAPELY LEATHER SHEATH COVERED , MOSSI TRIBE BURKINA FASO ( No 2975 )

This is a shapely leather doll from the Mossi people of Burkina Faso, West Africa.  The form is extremely abstract, a series of geometric forms, all contained in a leather sheath.  Has a fine woven leather design at the neck.  The patina is dry .  In good condition with wear commensurate with tribal use.  We guarantee that this item has been tribally used. H approx 25cm.
