This is a substantial, geometrically engraved stool from the Dogon tribe of Mali, west Africa. Substantial and heavy form, made from a very dense African hardwood. The patina is solid and shows its age. Zig zag engravings around the perimeter and on each strut. Rare to find. In good condition with wear. We guarantee that this item has been indigenously used.
