DL RESERVED A FINELY DECORATED CLAY POT, FROM BURKINA FASO ( No 3031 )

This is a graphic  clay ceremonial vessel from Burkina Faso, West Africa.  Medium sized.  Has fine geometric and animal decoration, defined by engravings and different colours of slip.  A fine level of detail throughout.  Has a used patina with some indigenous repair to the aperture.  In good condition, with some wear.  We guarantee that this item has been tribally used.  height approx 40 cm
