This is a dynamic statue from the Lobi people of Burkina Faso. The form is tall and elegant with arms out and is one of the largest and finest examples we have had .Has a nicely developed dry patina, energetic form, and in good condition. Wear is commensurate with tribal use. Does not have a base so it doesn’t stand up. We guarantee that this item has been tribally used. H approx 40 cm .
