This is a handsome headrest from Ethiopia, East Africa. Ex UK collection. Features a well worn patina demonstrating a long life.  Made of a dense African hardwood with attractive red undertones.   In good condition,the top part has nails attaching to base ,  wear commensurate with tribal use at the base. We guarantee that this item has been tribally used. H approx 16cm
