AN UNUSUAL ROOM DIVIDER, WITH AN EYE, GURAGE TRIBE ETHIOPIA (No 2866)

This is a unusual room divider from the Gur-
age tribe of Ethiopia. Used to mark out the
space inside a hut. The form is unique, with
an eye like focal point. There are geometric
engravings along the shaft of the room di-
vider. Has a well developed patina. There is a
crack down the centre. Has wear commen-
surate with tribal use and bags of character.
In solid condition. We guarantee that this
item has been tribally used. Metal stand in-
