A TERRIFIC TURTLE RING, ASHANTI TRIBE GHANA ( No 2677)

This is a terrifically large turtle ring from the Ashanti people of Ghana , West Africa. A rare form with a large turtle carrying objects on its back, including a snail.  Made of white metal using the lost wax technique.  The patina has softened with age.  In good condition. We guarantee that this item has been tribally used. width approx 5cm
