This is a petite sized colon figure from Baule people of the Ivory Coast, west Africa. The
form, sensitively carved with childlike proportions. The patina is nicely developed. Dating probably from the 1960-70s era. Has sculptural form, and is in good condition. Wear commensurate with tribal use. In good condition. We guarantee that this item has been tribally used. H approx 14cm
