A QUALITY NDOP INDIGO CLOTH ROBE, BAMILEKE TRIBE CAMEROON ( No 2426)

A beautifully patterned large size, quality Ndop strip weave fabric from Cameroon, West Africa.  Has a particularly pretty and complicated design. which women artisans would have stitched in the geometrical resist design in raphia thread, which would then be dyed with indigo. A lovely variation in indigo -denimy shades.   In solid original condition with wear.  Height approx 300cm x 110cm
