A LARGE TWISTED DOUBLE SPIRAL IRON CURRENCY FROM KIRDI TRIBE OF CAMEROON, WEST AFRICA( No 2325)

This is a twisted double spiral shaped iron currency from Cameroon. Features a high level of detail.  Made of iron, which was considered to be magical, and had inherent value as a result. A masterful example of indigenous aesthetic, with a used and oxidised patina. In good condition.  We guarantee this item has been tribally used.  Does not stand unassisted. Height approx 24cm
