A BIG, BEAD +SHELL DRAPED WOODEN DOLL, NAMJE TRIBE OF CAMEROON( No 2321)

This is a large, bead and shell clad doll from the Fali tribe of Cameroon.  The wooden doll has a head which is phallic shaped.  Features  leather talismans, glass bead and cowrie shell decoration.  Semi- abstracted form.  Has a well developed patina and is in good condition with wear.  Does not stand unassisted.  We guarantee that this item has been tribally used.  H approx 25cm
