A BIG, CHARACTERFUL HONEY POT FROM TUTSI TRIBE OF RWANDA E. AFRICA ( No 2310)

This is a substantial honey pot from the Tutsi tribe of Rwanda. Simple generous form with practical and artful indigenous metal repairs.  Has a nicely used satin patina.  Made of a light honey coloured African hardwood, with a good weight.   Used to contain food stuffs, including honey. In good condition. Has wear commensurate with tribal use. We guarantee that this item has been tribally used. Height approx 45cm
