A SCULPTURAL IRON TORQUE CURRENCY FROM WEST AFRICA ( No 2306)

This is a sculptural iron currency from Cameroon. Features a large curved torque with weaving motifs.  The triangular ends have raised circular decoration. Used for trade of one off purchases.  Has a substantial indigenous style, with a used and oxiidised patina. In good condition.  We guarantee this item has been tribally used.  Height approx 24cm
