A WOVEN FIBRE BASKET FROM TUTSI TRIBE RWANDA( No 2178)

This is a precisely woven Tutsi basket from Rwanda. Simple coil construction with a vibrant, graphic woven design.  Features a nicely used patina.  In good condition., with wear and some traditional indigenous repair.  This is a tray basket.  Has been photographed upright but does not stand unassisted.  We guarantee that this item has been tribally used. width approx 30cm
