This is a very large and dramatic mask from the Sukuma tribe of Tanzania. Has simple yet striking form, with large rectangular apertures for the mouth and eyes. An evocative example, glowing with a red dye. The patina has remnants of pigment. Many signs of tribal use. In good collectable condition, with wear. We guarantee this item has been tribally used.
