AN UNUSUAL MILK PAIL FROM THE TURKANA TRIBE OF KENYA ( No 1878)

This is an unusually designed wooden vessel from the Turkana people of Kenya.  It features two prominent rings around the base of the vessel which is a rare design element.  Made of a light coloured and dense African hardwood.  The patina is refined, and softly worn, with a slight sheen.   Has a loop for hanging.   In good condition, with wear. We guarantee that this item has been tribally used. Height approx 22cm
