A WELL PATINATED MASK FROM BURKINA FASO, WEST AFRICA ( No 1573)

This is a well patinated mask from Burkina Faso, West Africa. Has sculptural yet elemental form. The patina is well used, multidimensional attractive character. the hairstyle is reminiscent of the 1950s short back and sides.  A rare mask in good collectable condition. Metal stand not included. Mask doesn’t stand unaided but it will hang on the wall very well.  We guarantee this item has been tribally used. Height of mask approx 40cm
