A STATUESQUE MEDIUM TO LARGE TUTSI BASKET AND LID ( No 2166)

This is a statuesque Tutsi basket from Rwanda complete with conical lid. Simple form with classic lightning bolt contrasting designs.  Features a nicely used patina which has darkened with age.  In good condition., with wear and indigenous repairs.  We guarantee that this item has been tribally used. Height approx 45cm
