A STATUESQUE HEADREST, POKOT TRIBE KENYA, E AFRICA EX UK COLL (No 4143)

This is a lovely, collection headrest, refined shape, and superbly patinated,  from the Pokot people of Kenya. Most noteworthy is the fine form and Excellent patina. It has a honey blonde patina from many years of tribal handling and use, with contrasting dark core. In good condition, even with the handle in tact. The top is exquisitely yet subtly shaped.
