This is a quality heavy 19thC currency torque from the Yoruba tribe of Nigeria, West Africa.  Made of sold brass, with lots of wear from its extensive age.  The one spiral end is worn away. Very sturdy, heavy and substantial in the hand.  An antique, darkened patina.  In good condition.  We guarantee that this item has been tribally used. Width approx 23cm
